Citizens for Cyber Charter Choice

"Striving to preserve and ensure cyber charter schools as an educational choice for parents desiring more control and freedom in the design and delivery of their children's education."

This site was developed as an informational gateway for any individuals interested in the status of Public Cyber Charter Schools in Pennsylvania.

Our current members include those who previously were homeschool families, public school families, those who utilized the private tutoring provision, and other individuals interested in ensuring the success of public cyber charter schools. We have students enrolled in WPCCS, TEACH, and PAVCS and welcome families from other public cyber charter schools to join us. We are all enthusiastic supporters of the educational opportunities provided by public cyberschooling.

To date, our activities have included the creation of a public- service website, a newsletter, attendance at the court hearing in Butler county, letters to elected officials, networking, and attendance at public school board meetings.

Sharing your story

Elizabeth in Warren County: "I like this choice we

have it puts me and my kids on the same playing field

with others who could afford choices. Why should they

have substandard education when they have as much

promise as someone with a larger income. I get

excited because this is the future."

been stuck trying to do the job of both parents does

not mean we should be stuck with substandard education

for our children or worse, dangerous school

situations. Single working parents have an even

larger load to carry than two parent households. Thank

might just be the ultimate

educational equalizer!!! All those who have been the

most downtrodden and have had the fewest educational

options for the children that they love, finally have

this golden opportunity"

April: "Another issue to keep in mind is mothers or

fathers who would home school their children but don't

have a high school diploma themselves. They can't

home school but Cyber charters are an option for them.

It's a God send."
